Our crew members are all trained in the OSHA-10 Hour Construction-specific safety measures under OSHA 29 CFR 1926. Specifically, best practices for safeguarding against the top causes of fatalities and accidents on construction sites.
Personal protective equipment is a specific OSHA standard for construction. Here at VetBros, we require personal protective equipment the meets or surpasses standards developed by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
The OSHA 30-Hour Construction is required for all Team Leads and Supervisors here at VetBros. It includes a detailed overview of the most common risks of construction work, including fall hazards, caught-in or -between hazards, struck-by hazards and electrocution.
State and Federal law requires that employer obtain and keep on file a Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for every hazardous substance that they use/store and made available to their employees. The VetBros Team lead is responsible for training each employee/person working in their crew on the SDSs for each chemical used or handled; signed training records are readily available upon inspection.

Sherwin-Williams is dedicated to superior product stewardship and workplace safety. Globally Harmonized System - Safety Data Sheets (GHS-SDS), Product Data Sheets (PDS), and Environmental Data Sheets (EDS) are available for all Sherwin-Williams professional paint products and outline technical specifications, specific ingredient composition, health, safety, fire and environmental hazards, first aid and accidental spill measures, handling, storage, protection and exposure guidelines, ecological and regulatory information and disposal considerations.
According to OSHA, employers must ensure that employees who may be exposed to hazardous chemicals in the workplace have easy access to the chemicals’ Safety Data Sheets (SDSs). SDSs help you understand the chemicals’ properties, potential health and physical hazards, protective measures to take and precautions for safe transport, handling and storage. Information on the SDS must be in English and available to employees working with or near the hazardous chemical.
The purpose of a Safety Data Sheet (SDS), formerly known as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), is to provide information on the hazards of working with a chemical and procedures that should be used to ensure safety. SDSs are a primary source of information regarding chemical hazards and handling.
